Poojanahalli

Poojanahalli

Poojanahalli is a small village turning into an emerging residential and industrial pocket in the Devanahalli belt of North Bengaluru, sitting close to the KIADB Aerospace Park and Kempegowda International Airport within Devanahalli taluk. It is very much a growth-story address rather than a settled suburb, and most of what is being built here is tied to the airport economy taking shape around it.

Connectivity leans on the road network. NH-44, the Bellary Road corridor, is the spine, putting the airport roughly 10 to 15 km away and the city reachable through Hebbal, which is why the belt appeals to people who fly often or work airside. On rail, there is no operational metro here yet; the Blue Line airport extension, Phase 2B, is under construction towards the airport and targeted for around 2027, so for now travel is by car, cab or bus.

The real anchor is jobs. The KIADB Aerospace Park, a large special economic zone for aerospace and defence, sits alongside the Devanahalli Business Park, and an upcoming Foxconn manufacturing facility in the wider belt is expected to add thousands of roles over the coming years. For daily needs, the surrounding Devanahalli and airport belt offers schools such as Stonehill International School, Oakridge International School and Akash International School, and hospitals including Akash Hospital and Ramaiah Leena Multispeciality Hospital.

Poojanahalli suits investors and buyers who believe in the airport and aerospace growth story, and people working at the Aerospace Park or the airport itself. The trade-offs are significant and worth stating plainly: this is a nascent, construction-phase area a long way from the established city and from the East and South IT corridors, immediate retail and amenities are still thin, and the metro is years from opening, so it reads as a longer-horizon, investment-led bet rather than a ready-made neighbourhood. On pricing, listing platforms such as 99acres place the wider Devanahalli belt near Rs 9,500 per sq.ft, up sharply from around Rs 5,500 five years ago.

Among live options, the area includes launches such as Prestige Devanahalli. PropNewz tracks new launches and price movement across Poojanahalli and the Devanahalli belt so buyers can weigh them against a longer build-out timeline.
