Purva Codename Hennur in North Bangalore by Purva Land offers premium residential apartments on Hennur Road. New launch in one of Bangalore's prime northern.
Hennur Road runs north from the Outer Ring Road as the Hennur Bagalur Main Road, passing Kothanur and reaching Kannuru and Kyalasanahalli on its outer stretch. Bangalore International School, Christel House and United International School are among the schools on this corridor, with Kristu Jayanti College at Kothanur. SPARSH Hospital Hennur Road is the main hospital, with Aster CMI and Manipal Hospital in Hebbal further west. Elements Mall on Thanisandra Main Road and Phoenix Mall of Asia on Bellary Road are the nearest malls. There is no operational metro yet; Nagawara on the under-construction Pink Line and a Hennur station on the under-construction Kanaka suburban line are the closest. BMTC's Hennur depot and the 293 series serve the road. Manyata Tech Park is roughly 6 to 10 km away and the airport about 25 km.
Bangalore International School is on Hennur Bagalur Road near Geddalahalli, and VIBGYOR High Hennur and Orchids International School have campuses along the main road. Further out, Christel House is on Bellahalli Road off Hennur Road in the Kannuru area, and United International School is on Hennur Bagalur Main Road near Kannuru. New Baldwin School and Vidyaniketan Academy are also on this corridor.
Kristu Jayanti College at K Narayanapura, Kothanur, is the best-known college close by, and several engineering and management colleges are within a short drive toward Hebbal and Yelahanka.
SPARSH Hospital Hennur Road, a large multispecialty hospital in HBR Layout on the Hennur Bagalur Main Road, opened in 2025 and is the main tertiary option on the corridor. Aster CMI Hospital and Manipal Hospital in Hebbal are roughly 8 to 12 km away for advanced care. Smaller nursing homes and clinics are spread along the road around Kothanur and Kannuru.
Elements Mall on Thanisandra Main Road, roughly 5 to 8 km from most of Hennur Road, is the nearest mall with a multiplex. Phoenix Mall of Asia on Bellary Road at Byatarayanapura and Esteem Mall in Hebbal are within about 10 to 15 km. Daily needs are well served by supermarkets, restaurants and stores along the main road, especially near the ORR junction and Kothanur.
Hennur Road does not have an operational metro station yet. Nagawara, the northern terminal of the under-construction Pink Line and an interchange with the under-construction Blue Line toward the airport, is the closest planned station, with HRBR Layout on the same Blue Line along the ORR. The existing Purple Line can be reached at Baiyappanahalli, roughly 8 to 10 km away. The Kanaka line of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail project, under construction between Heelalige and Rajanukunte, includes a Hennur station.
BMTC has a depot at Hennur, and the 293 to 296 series of routes run along Hennur Road toward Lingarajapuram and on to the city centre, with some services reaching Bagalur. Transfers to Shivajinagar, KR Market and Majestic are straightforward from the Indian Express and Lingarajapuram stretch. Buses on the Outer Ring Road connect the Hennur junction with Hebbal, KR Puram and the eastern tech corridor.
The Outer Ring Road crosses Hennur Road at the Hennur junction, giving access to Manyata Tech Park, Hebbal and KR Puram. Thanisandra Main Road runs parallel to the west, and the Hennur Bagalur Main Road continues north to Bagalur, from where roads connect to Bellary Road and Kempegowda International Airport, roughly 25 km away. MG Road and the CBD are about 10 to 12 km south, though peak traffic near the ORR junction can be heavy.
Kannuru lies on the outer part of the Hennur Bagalur Main Road, a few kilometres beyond Kothanur, and has changed from a village into a growing cluster of apartment and villa projects. Kyalasanahalli sits next to Kannuru, slightly off the main road, and is a quieter, still developing pocket with plotted layouts and newer gated communities. Both are well placed for buyers who want relatively easy access to the airport and to Manyata Tech Park.
