Gopanpally
Gopanpally sits on the western side of Gachibowli in Serilingampally mandal, Ranga Reddy district, between the University of Hyderabad, Nallagandla, Tellapur and Osman Nagar. For years it was a quiet belt of villages and plotted layouts; the arrival of a large Wipro campus and the steady westward spread of Gachibowli's offices turned it into one of West Hyderabad's busiest pockets for high rise gated communities.
The appeal is proximity. The Financial District is about 6 km away in a straight line, Gachibowli about 6.6 km, and the nearest Outer Ring Road exit roughly 6.5 km by road, so much of the city's IT employment sits within a short drive. The University of Hyderabad and several international schools are close by. The trade off is that roads and civic services are still catching up with the number of towers under construction, so peak hour drives to the Financial District and Gachibowli take noticeably longer than the distances suggest.
